Guideline for implementing video review

Make sure there are as few steps as possible for recording procedures

Make recording and reviewing voluntary, providers choose themselves if they want to record their interventions.

Remind providers at, for example, hand-over to record care by giving them gentle reminders. Do not push or put pressure on it.

When recording delivery, consider to add respiratory function monitoring to recordings

videolaryngoscopy to intubation videos

Adding sound enables evaluation of non-technical aspects such as communication, teamwork, collaboration

You could even show recordings to patients / parents of patients in case of neonatology as well. use recordings to help improve care based on the patients' insights.
